The really cute childcareuniforms.com.au website
The Challenge
When Jon Mewton, owner of a Gold Coast uniform, apparel and sales promotion goods company Snappy Uniforms realised that he had organically began to specialise in one specific market – Childcare Centres, he engaged Commonsense Marketing to develop a marketing strategy to grow this market. We had already provided business mentoring, web design and marketing campaign development for his core business Snappy Uniforms which had achieved excellent results, so Jon felt comfortable with using us again to help him spearhead growth into this niche market.
The Solution
We developed a USP and positioning statement and created the following marketing collateral:
- New branding – logo, business cards, order forms
- A new website featuring their unique product range
- Developed artwork for a range of exclusive kid’s designs
- A free ebook “50 Great Fundraising Ideas for Childcare Centres”
- A direct mail campaign to childcare centres with special offer
- An automated prospect and customer follow up system and newsletter tempate
- New Social Media assets
We also provided Jon with training in social media and blogposts, newsletter creation and onsite SEO so that he could confidently continue with his own online marketing.
The Outcome
Childcare Uniforms is featuring on the first page of google for a number of related keywords, is receiving good organic website traffic and receiving a steady supply of enquiries.

The best result I’ve had from marketing – ever.
“Our new website attracts new business: since we launched our new website (created by Commonsense Marketing) we’ve received enquiries from several new interstate childcare centres. We’re delighted that the site is exposing our business to new prospects and generating high quality leads, in just a few weeks!
$4000 order from One Newsletter: Commonsense Marketing set up a Newsletter template for us and trained us in how to present and write the information. Our first newsletter resulted in $4000 order from a new major client and repeat orders from existing clients
Social Media – within days of launching our new FB business page we received likes and enquires and this is one area we’ll be devoting more marketing energy to, as Annette has shown us that we need.
